Midland is home. The shop has been at 821 Vinden Street since Norm Rumney opened it in 1983, and his son Adam runs it from the same building today. If you are in town, the simplest thing is to come by during opening hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
At the shop
Everything we do is done here: chip and crack repair, windshield and side-glass replacement, boat and RV glass, heavy equipment cab glass, window and headlight tint, and remote starter installation. Bring the vehicle in, or drop it off and pick it up later. One customer described dropping their vehicle off overnight, paying over the phone and collecting it after hours; if that suits you, ask when you book.
Mobile service in Midland
If you would rather not come to Vinden Street, we can come to you at home or at work in town. A chip repair takes about twenty minutes in a driveway or a parking lot. Tell us where you are when you request a quote.
Boats
With the marinas on Midland Bay a few minutes from the shop, boat glass is a regular part of the work here. If a window has gone on a boat at a Midland marina, send us a photo and the boat's make and model.
