Automatic Bilge Upgrade Kit

Replace a tired manual pump and a sticky float switch with one automatic unit — and a proper three-way switch at the helm. The Rule-Mate 800 senses water electronically (no float to jam on a zip tie or a leaf) and is the right size for runabouts and bowriders from 18 to 24 feet.

What's in the box

• Rule-Mate 800 GPH automatic bilge pump, 12V (RM800B) — pump and water-sensing switch in one low-profile housing. 1⅛" outlet, fits the same hose as a standard Rule 800/1100. Draws under 4 amps.
• Rule Deluxe 3-way panel switch, 12V — Auto / Off / Manual with an indicator light, so you can test the pump from the helm and see when it's running.

Install notes

• Mount the pump at the lowest point of the bilge. Fasten the base to a stringer or a fibreglassed pad, not the hull.
• Use marine-grade heat-shrink butt connectors and keep splices above the bilge water line.
• Run the automatic feed to the battery through the supplied inline fuse so the pump works with the key off — that's the whole point over winter and on the mooring.
